Job Description

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

As part of the AIT Department, your responsibilities will include:

• Development and execution of functional tests in satellite programs
• Reviewing and creating test specifications
• Defining, creating, developing, and executing test procedures
• Definition, development, implementation, and debugging of test scripts
• Supporting electrical integration activities
• Preparing and configuring test systems for satellite and instrument tests
• Preparing and evaluating test data and reporting to the customer
• Documenting test results and writing reports
• Supporting satellite/instrument operation
• Analyzing satellite configuration and documentation
• Supporting error analysis and NCR investigations

Qualifications and Skills

Ideal candidates will have:

• A degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Fluency in English; German is a plus
• Initial experience in satellite AIT
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
• Knowledge of ECSS standards, satellite communication, link encryption, TM/TC (PUS) is a plus
