We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Junior Development Engineer (m/f/d) with a background in mechatronics, electrical engineering, medical technology, or a related field.
You will join our System Integration team and contribute to the further development, testing, and optimization of the Molecular Cartography platform – a cutting-edge system for spatial biology research.
This position is ideal for recent university graduates who want to gain practical experience in product development and learn how complex bioanalytical instruments are built, tested, and brought to life.
The role is based in the company’s headquarters in Monheim am Rhein, Germany.
Optional / depending on your background and interest:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Medical Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong technical understanding of electromechanical systems and enthusiasm for hands-on experimental work.
Interest in learning system integration, product testing, and troubleshooting in a regulated environment.
Basic experience with CAD software (e.g. Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks) or willingness to learn.
Some experience or interest in data analysis or programming (Python, MATLAB, or similar) is an advantage.
Structured and reliable working style, with curiosity and a collaborative mindset.
