Our Finance team seeks a commercially driven, strategically thinking and experienced (junior) Finance Manager to support the department leader across multiple fronts. Your Responsibilities

As a Finance Manager (d/f/m) , you will play a central role in finance topics including Strategic Finance / FP&A, Tech/Automation implementation, and Fundraising. You will help design and build processes and standards from the ground up, drive innovation and efficiency, and maintain a broad view of the company’s business model. You will have the authority to set best practices, introduce scalable solutions, and implement future-ready workflows that support growth. Automation will be a core part of your role.

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Support the implementation of our FP&A system (Abacum) and co-responsible for Actuals reporting and variance analysis, including insights and corrective actions.
• Forecasts: Build financial models on the FP&A platform and provide inputs across departments through regular and ad-hoc business partnering.
• New Countries Set-Up: Assist with creating new entities, ERP adoption, and integration with a single-source-of-truth database.
• AP/AR Oversight: Support accounts payable/receivable, ensure timely payments, and handle escrow accounts, collaterals, and client reporting topics.
• Payment / Invoice & Accrual Automation: Co-lead projects to automate internal finance tasks.
• Fundraising: Support preparatory tasks related to future fundraising initiatives.
• Operational Finance: Share responsibility for invoice management, payments, T&E management, and other ad-hoc tasks.
• Admin Support: Collaborate with the founder’s associate and finance operations on ad-hoc projects (e.g., bank accounts opening, KYC, public grants).

Your Profile

Mandatory Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Finance, ideally in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related quantitative field; Master’s degree and/or CFA preferred.
• Proven track record of strategic financial thinking and autonomous working style.
• Business proficiency (C2) in English; German (B2+) would be beneficial.

Skills to Set You Apart

• Experience in high-growth startups or scale-ups with examples of wearing multiple hats.
• Hands-on experience leading complex finance set-ups with ventures abroad and complex transactions.
• Strong understanding of FP&A processes and success factors.
• Initiatives relating to process automation through digital tools.
• Ownership and accountability for end-to-end finance processes and projects.
