Assistant / Junior Project Developer – Renewable Energy (Solar PV & Battery Storage)

We are partnering with a UK-based renewable energy developer at the forefront of the energy transition, specializing in utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage projects across the UK, Europe, and North America. Since its founding in 2013, the company has developed a strong track record with over 10.6 GW of projects in the pipeline—3.2 GW of solar PV and 7.4 GW of battery storage. Their integrated approach covers the entire project lifecycle, from concept and development through to construction, operation, and community engagement.

As part of their ongoing expansion across Europe, the company is now growing its presence in Germany and is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant / Junior Project Developer to support the delivery of renewable energy projects.




Your Role:

Working closely with senior project developers and cross-functional teams, you will assist in the development of solar and battery storage projects from early-stage site evaluation to pre-construction. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting site identification and feasibility assessments for new PV and battery storage projects
• Assisting with permitting processes and coordination with local authorities and consultants
• Helping to prepare and maintain project documentation, timelines, and reporting
• Supporting layout design by gathering environmental, technical, and regulatory data
• Assisting with stakeholder engagement, including landowners, municipalities, and suppliers
• Conducting research into local market trends, regulations, and competitor activity
• Supporting the team in meetings, presentations, and representation at local events



What You’ll Bring:

• A background in renewable energy, environmental science, engineering, geography, or a related field (academic or early professional experience)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Enthusiasm to learn and grow within the renewable energy sector
• A collaborative mindset and a proactive, hands-on attitude
• Fluency in German and working proficiency in English
