Junior Project Engineer Molding (m/f/d)

Your assignments:

• Support the planning, scheduling, and execution of projects
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new technologies
• Support the smooth transfer of technology related to molds and injection molding machines
• Assist in the standardization of best practices in injection molding
• Participate in global projects
• Support value streams in assessing moldability and evaluating product development costs
• Prepare User Requirement Specifications (URS) for injection molding-related equipment
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors and coordinate the bidding process in partnership with Procurement
• Support concept and design reviews with internal process owners and potential external suppliers
• Lead the process development for injection molding
• Support or lead Design Qualification (DQ), Factory and Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT), as well as Installation and Operational Qualification (IQ/OQ) activities within CAPEX projects
• Support or lead equipment implementation
• Assist in monitoring and reporting CAPEX expenditures for each project

Your profile:

• Technical degree in mechanical engineering with practical experience in production environments
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the industry, specifically in molding processes
• Proven expertise in injection molding process development
• Familiarity with the latest injection molding machine technologies available on the market
• Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in CAD drawing (2D and 3D)
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel
