Junior Support / Integration Engineer (Contract – Remote)

Our firm is seeking a Junior Support / Integration Engineer to assist with technical troubleshooting, integrations, and internal tooling as we continue to scale our platform. This is a hands-on role suited to someone eager to learn and grow within a dynamic product and engineering environment. The position is fully remote and offered on a contract basis, with a competitive hourly rate.



Key Responsibilities
• Respond to technical issues raised internally or by users and help identify root causes
• Support the setup and maintenance of third-party integrations and internal tooling
• Assist with minor debugging and fixes across the front-end and back-end systems
• Coordinate with developers and product managers to escalate and resolve bugs
• Maintain internal documentation for support workflows and integration setup
• Monitor error logs and contribute to improvements in system reliability
• Communicate technical issues clearly and efficiently across teams



Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Familiarity with modern web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, APIs, and basic HTTP concepts)
• Basic scripting or programming ability (e.g. JavaScript, Python)
• Understanding of REST APIs and data formats such as JSON
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Comfortable learning new tools and troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple support tasks in a remote setting



Nice to Have
• Exposure to Postman, curl, or similar tools for API testing
• Experience working with error monitoring or logging systems (e.g. Sentry, LogRocket)
• Familiarity with Git, CI tools, or basic command-line usage
• Previous experience in a support, QA, or customer engineering environment
