Overview

Our client is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their Corporate and Employment Law team. This role offers exposure to a broad range of individual and collective employment law matters, as well as corporate law topics depending on your background and interests.

Key Responsibilities

Advise HR, managers, and internal teams on individual and collective employment law matters (excluding collective bargaining).
Support legal matters related to employee data protection, temporary staffing, and restructuring projects.
Draft and negotiate works agreements, reconciliations of interest, and social plans.
Maintain and update employment and executive contract templates.
Deliver employment law training to HR and leadership teams.
Coordinate and manage external legal counsel.
Advise on corporate governance and German company law.
Prepare and support supervisory board meetings and co-determination matters.
Assist with group restructurings, including mergers, spin-offs, and share transfers.
Draft corporate documents and manage commercial register filings.
Collaborate with Finance, Tax, HR, and international legal teams.

Your Profile

Fully qualified German lawyer.
4–6 years of relevant experience in employment law; corporate law experience is a plus.
Fluent in German and English.
Strong business acumen and ability to communicate legal topics clearly.
Independent, proactive, and reliable with strong teamwork and communication skills.
