Program Summary

KBR leads the contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed worldwide under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). The program dates back to 1992 when KBR served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, KBR has a workforce of over 6,000 employees representing 40 nationalities working in 14 countries.

Job Summary

Under limited and occasional supervision from the Program Manager, the General Site Manager independently manages the daily activities and contract compliance of a large-sized project located on site. The role requires supervising and directing technical and administrative aspects of the project, including reports, staffing, personnel management, vendor management, client relations, project setup, and contract changes. Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, transitional activities, vendor management, client relations, project setup, contract changes.

• Oversee daily operations and ensure contract compliance.
• Manage technical and administrative project aspects, including reports, staffing, and personnel.
• Supervise vendor management and client relations.
• Coordinate transitional activities and contract changes.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in an appropriate discipline.
• 12 years of experience in operational management of government-sponsored programs.
• Prior military experience is preferred.
• Security clearance required; security clearance may be substituted for required education.
• Additional relevant experience may substitute for required education.
