About the Role:
What you'll be doing:

• leading a team of motivated software engineers from different backgrounds
  

Together with your team you will be ...

• operating the GROPYUS IoT infrastructure inside our GROPYUS managed buildings
• evaluating and integrating new (IoT) hardware into our existing ecosystem and ensuring that it can be used to deliver customer value
• working closely together with your product management peers and other engineering team leads deliver the right solution
• collaborating with our vendor manager to make sure we scout and evaluate the right products
• keeping up to date with new developments especially around smart building and smart homes
  

What you bring:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, preferably with exposure to distributed systems and operating devices across various locations
• Professional experience in leading a software engineering team
• A good understanding of smart home and smart building technologies
• Experience in working with Linux based operating systems
• Experience in driving and documenting software system architecture in general and the decisions made in this respect in particular
• Experience in working in an agile environment
• Curiosity exploring new technologies and their possible value contribution to GROPYUS
