Deutsche Bank Technology in Berlin is part of our global network of tech hubs, focusing on promoting technical excellence and innovation in financial services using cutting-edge technologies.

The Billing Technology team, consisting of over 75 members, supports all four business lines within the Corporate Bank—Cash Management, Security Services, Trust & Agency Services, and Trade Finance & Lending. The platform is vital for revenue generation and revenue leakage mitigation, processing high-volume transactions in real-time or near-real-time, contributing significantly to the bank’s profitability.

Role Overview: You will drive and contribute to the technology strategy, simplify the tech stack with modern technologies like Google Cloud and Java microservices, and work with architects and product managers using agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure testing strategies, plans, and deliverables are executed across applications within your domain.
• Develop and maintain robust regression suites with maximum automation and coverage.
• Design testing procedures to verify software performance and functionality.
• Define and monitor quality metrics such as code coverage and defect leakage.
• Investigate and resolve software performance issues.
• Support business development through quality assurance practices.
• Promote best practices and improve testing methodologies.
• Record defects and report metrics and KPIs.
• Mentor and motivate junior team members.

Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in Java for scripting and automation.
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Postman, SQL, Cucumber, and REST APIs.
• Manage source code with GitHub, including branching and merging.
• Build and work with test automation frameworks.
• Manage SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork in Agile environments.
• Ability to decompose acceptance criteria into detailed test cases.
• Leadership experience in projects and teams.
• Nice to have: JavaScript, Node.js, Google Cloud knowledge, performance testing tools.
