We develop Citrix uberAgent, a product that provides unprecedented visibility into the user experience and security of physical PCs and virtual desktops. uberAgent’s metrics are used by Citrix’s enterprise customers to optimize the performance, security, and reliability of their employees’ applications and devices.

Position Summary

You’ll be part of the team that ports our lightweight Windows/macOS agent to Linux. You’ll benefit from the experience we already have in developing platform-independent code, moving the project forward by adding your skills and ideas. You’ll be part of an agile team that uses a modern tech stack in a friendly and collaborative work environment.

Lead Developer position : Responsible for the design and development of a product and its interfaces. Designs, implements, and guides team members. Works on broad-scope problems. Defines standard practices and procedures. Provides and receives guidance on design work to meet performance, schedule, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Own the broad scope of product development; mentor and guide developers.
• Create and finalize functional specifications for key modules.
• Review designs of services from other teams and provide guidance.
• Design and implement new features independently and collaboratively.
• Collaborate with architects on design finalization; assist other teams with design choices.
• Automate testing and ensure quality for features and fixes.
• Improve processes for secure and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)

• Proficiency in C++
• Experience in Linux system development
• Knowledge of eBPF
• Strong focus on quality and accuracy
• Fluency in German and English
• Principal residence in Germany
