Are you a seasoned frontend expert passionate about consulting and delivering innovative web solutions? Do you thrive on technical responsibility and want to shape outstanding digital experiences for leading clients? Join VI and become part of a team where your expertise makes a difference.

What you will do:

1. Consult with clients: Understand business needs, identify technical solutions, and act as a trusted advisor throughout complex digital projects.
2. Technical leadership: Take end-to-end technical ownership for client projects – from cost estimation and architecture to final implementation.
3. Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to ensure seamless, high-quality web experiences.
4. Team leadership: Lead interdisciplinary teams, set technical direction, and drive projects to success through your expertise.
5. Mentoring: Guide and support less experienced engineers, fostering continuous professional growth within the team.
6. Strategic guidance: Anticipate technological trends, help clients navigate current and future challenges, and ensure sustainable digital excellence.

Requirements

What we expect:

1. Professional experience: At least 7 years as a Frontend Engineer, Lead Developer, or in a similar technical consulting role.
2. Technical excellence: Deep expertise in modern frontend technologies (e.g., React, TypeScript, modern build tools) and strong experience architecting complex web applications.
3. Agile mindset: Proficient in agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
4. DevOps & CI/CD: Solid understanding of DevOps practices, Git workflows, and release processes.
5. Storyblok experience: Previous work with Storyblok or similar headless CMS is highly desirable.
6. Language skills: Confident and fluent communication in both German and English.
7. Willingness to travel: Occasional travel for internal events, workshops, and client meetings.
