Lead System Architect - Power Supply (m/w/d)

Position: Full‑time (Ref. Nr. R ) – Ditzingen, Stuttgart, Germany (Hybrid).

Responsibilities

• Develop complex technical concepts for power supply systems and represent them to internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct requirements analysis and translate them into system architectures throughout the product lifecycle.
• Represent the organization in national committees and in the development of guidelines and standards.
• Collaborate closely with product management, system architects, development teams, customers and suppliers.
• Provide technical leadership for internal and external staff in the power supply domain and act as subject‑matter expert and point of contact.
• Drive innovations, identify new technical solutions, and lead the development and further evolution of existing systems.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on railway power supply or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience building expertise in power supply systems, ideally within the railway sector.
• Proficient in working with high voltage and power electronics and capable of mastering complex systems.
• Strong knowledge of international standards (VDE, CENELEC) and railway regulations.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, organizational talent and a solution‑oriented working style.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
