Position is available from January 2026. It is a fixed‑term employment (parental leave replacement) for 15 months full‑time.

Responsibilities

• Ensure GDPR compliance of contracts and agreements with external stakeholders from drafting to negotiation.
• Advise decision‑makers on contractual matters, especially advertising, marketing, sponsorship, influencer, data analytics, events and social media.
• Legally support the development and execution of marketing campaigns for national and international artists.
• Provide counsel on legal issues regarding context, risk assessment, contract structures, compliance, company policies in data protection, commercial protection, IT, copyright, trademark, intellectual property, consumer protection and competition law.
• Involve in legal matters of facility management (civil law).
• Evaluate data protection–relevant matters, including standard agreements, policies and processes for risks, optimization potential and necessary measures.
• Support e‑commerce legal matters and consumer protection questions.
• Co‑ordinate with the Global Data Protection Officer in the USA and assist with GDPR compliance.
• Handle correspondence with partners, sister companies and law firms.

Qualifications

• Completed both state examinations with above‑average grades, preferably specializing in civil law.
• First professional experience in national and European data protection, intellectual property, and related media, marketing and advertising questions.
• Experience in drafting and managing complex contracts.
• Experience with data protection in international law firms or media companies, ideally within the music industry.
• International experience and English proficiency for negotiations.
