The Leibniz-Institut für Analytische Wissenschaften - ISAS - e. V. develops efficient analytical methods for health research. Thus, it contributes to the improvement of the prevention, early diagnosis, and therapy of diseases like cardiovascular diseases or cancer. Overall, the institute strives to advance precision medicine by combining knowledge from different fields such as biology, chemistry, computer science, medicine, pharmacology, and physics. Activities And Responsibilities


• Project coordination and monitoring of the (EU funded) Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network
• Network internal and external communication, dissemination and network support
• Organisation of network meetings and events
• Maintenance and controlling of project data and reports
• Financial monitoring
  
Qualification profile

• Masters or diploma degree, ideally in natural or life sciences or job-related field; doctorate is desirable
• Experience in research management and coordination of third-party funded projects, in particular EU-funded collaborative projects
• Excellent organizational skills, proven experience in coordination of scientific projects, as well as event and meeting planning
• Proficiency in scientific English (written and spoken) is mandatory
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to travel for network meetings

The position is related to the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral network METAMIC 3 - Metaproteome-based leveraged microbiome management in the context of One Health. METAMIC 3 is funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe framework programme (Grant Agreement number 101225682).
The METAMIC 3 project will embed Doctoral Candidates in a unique training environment to advance microbiome science through metaproteomics. The programme addresses One Health challenges by integrating research on microbial mechanisms, microbiome dynamics in various ecosystems, and translational applications in clinical and biotech fields.
The part-time position (50%) is available starting October 1, 2025 . It is fixed term and offered for four years (until September 30, 2029). The salary will be according to the German TV-L.
