Loan Syndication sits within our Global Markets team, structuring and distributing large scale financing deals that bring together global organisations to fund major corporate, financial institution, asset finance, real estate and infrastructure projects.

The Global Markets team helps clients navigate complexity, seize opportunities, and manage risk across asset classes. From foreign exchange and interest rates to debt securities and commodities, we deliver bespoke solutions that power global trade and investment. Financial Markets sits at the heart of our Corporate and Investment Banking business, connecting clients to the capital they need and the opportunities that drive growth.

What you’ll be doing

When you join us, you’ll be getting involved in impactful projects from the very start. You’ll be:

• Contributing to new primary and secondary loan sales activity to European investors.
• Helping to develop and maintain relationships with loan investors.
• Providing loan market intelligence to origination teams and other product partners.
• Supporting Europe´s loan syndicate team on pricing, liquidity and underwriting decisions.
• Ensuring that syndication and distribution is carried out within the Bank’s risk appetite and reputational and credit risks are appropriately managed.

For technical roles , we particularly value backgrounds in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics.

• Assessment Centres : November 2025.
• Start Date: July 2026.

Exceptions

• UK & UAE : Candidates requiring visa sponsorship will be considered.
• UAE : Priority is given to UAE nationals.
• US : We will only accept applications from individuals who have the permanent right to work in the USA.
