Scope As a Localization Specialist you own the translation technology stack, manage and optimise translation workflows, implement automation, and leverage machine‑translation and LLM solutions. You will drive operational excellence, support translators, and ensure high‑quality localised content through data‑driven analysis and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage translation technology, including CAT tools, translation management systems, and related integrations.
  • Operate and optimise translation workflows to ensure efficiency, scalability, and quality.
  • Implement and maintain automation solutions to streamline localisation processes.
  • Evaluate, deploy, and support the latest machine‑translation and LLM‑based solutions.
  • Collaborate with translators, project managers, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and improve outcomes.
  • Analyse localisation data and KPIs to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain localisation guidelines, best practices, and technical documentation.
  • Support vendor onboarding and technical integration.
  • Ensure localisation processes are reliable and aligned with industry standards.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Strong analytical skills and a data‑driven approach to problem‑solving.
  • Experience operating translation workflows and managing localisation technology.
  • Hands‑on experience with localisation automation, including scripting or workflow tools.
  • Familiarity with machine‑translation engines, LLM solutions, and CAT tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and communicate solutions to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in a global, fast‑paced environment, ideally in e‑commerce or technology.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English required; additional language skills are a plus.
