M&A Investment Associate – Cleantech & Renewables

Overview:

With more than 100 successful transactions completed and over a decade of sector focus, the firm is recognised as one of the first movers in sustainable energy advisory in Germany. The team of senior experts provides buy-side, sell-side, and capital raising advisory to leading corporates, investors, and innovators in the energy transition space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support execution of M&A mandates across Cleantech and Renewables
• Prepare financial models, valuations, pitch materials, and transaction documentation
• Conduct due diligence, market research, and competitive benchmarking
• Coordinate with clients, investors, and stakeholders during transaction processes
• Contribute to origination through sector mapping and pipeline development

Candidate Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A advisory
• Strong technical background in financial modelling and valuation
• Demonstrated interest in Cleantech, Renewables, and Energy Transition
• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) is essential
• Self-starter with excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills
