• Continuous analysis and optimization of database environments in terms of availability and performance
• Creation and maintenance of database objects
• Control and execution of reorganizations, backup recovery procedures, space monitoring.
• Planning and implementation of measures for the implementation of standardized and economical operation
• Support of application developers in error analysis
• Advising and supporting customers in the further development of their database-based applications
• Development and documentation of procedures to ensure an approach in the database environment that meets the more regulatory requirements
• Creation and maintenance of database-specific documents as part of information security and quality management
