Heidelberg Materials North America, previously known as Lehigh Hanson, operates more than 450 locations with approximately 9,000 employees in the U.S. and Canada.**What You’ll Get To Do:*** Organize building & facility contractor maintenance activities for the plant.* Coordinate the monitoring, evaluation and modification of the preventative, predictive and proactive maintenance programs to ensure maximum equipment uptime and efficient use of resources.* Develop and maintain files and drawings for the maintenance department (eg. drawings, checklists, maintenance history, etc.)* Assist the maintenance manager in the preparation of the annual maintenance budget; the development of the department's long-term goals and objectives to meet the overall plant operational and cost goals.* Collaborate with maintenance planner in the planning of all major equipment outages and significant repairs by utilizing project-planning techniques and software.**Who we are looking for:*** Strong technical proficiency in mechanical and electrical areas* Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, Mechanical engineering discipline strongly preferred.* Solid understanding of preventive/predictive/corrective maintenance principles, techniques and technologies* Familiarity with industrial plant operations, plant equipment, repair techniques and resource planning* Excellent organizational skills with a good working knowledge of filing systems for drawings, manuals, and equipment records.* Solid computer skills including knowledge of computerized maintenance software; prior experience with project management software and electronic timekeeping systems a plus.**Work Environment:*** Role operates primarily a professional office environment, but requires conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels**What we have to offer:*** Competitive base salary and participation in our annual incentive plan* Highly competitive benefits programs* Pension retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions* Our pre-employment process includes reference checks, a medical screening, a criminal record check and a drivers abstract check.
