If you are experienced in finance, numbers, balance sheets, HGB, IFRS, and taxes, you will be responsible for our accounting and tax team and the preparation of annual financial statements for our German subsidiaries.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely preparation of annual financial statements for our German subsidiaries according to HGB and IFRS
• Ensure completeness of all relevant closing entries
• Responsible for complete and timely group reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements using reporting tools
• Ensure liquidity planning in coordination with Group Treasury
• Serve as an interface for annual financial statements and tax calculations, as well as VAT processes
• Collaborate with external consultants and financial authorities
• Monitor tax developments and their impact on the company
• Evaluate business transactions from a sales tax perspective
• Prepare documents for the preparation of the tax balance sheet
• Support tax consulting in determining the corporate tax return and trade tax return
• Ensure compliance with all relevant deadlines and notifications, as well as compliance guidelines in an agile national and international environment
• Serve as a contact person for tax-related questions for auditors and tax auditors
• Advise German subsidiaries on tax-related matters
• Lead and develop the accounting and tax team
• Optimize and plan workflows/processes in the finance area
• Participate in divisional projects at the site, as well as internationally within the GBS organization
• Lead internal finance and tax projects in the finance area

Requirements:

• Completed commercial training, ideally with a degree in business administration with a focus on accounting/control
• Several years of experience in national and international accounting, as well as experience in international group reporting
• Secure knowledge of HGB/IFRS and taxes
• Understanding of financial processes and their tax implications
• Very good knowledge of SAP R/3 and MS Office
• Very good English language skills
• First leadership experience
• Strong analytical skills, good understanding of numbers, and independent, structured, and goal-oriented work
• Team spirit, flexibility, and assertiveness
