Manager, Operational Deals (Integration & Separation)

Interpath is an international advisory business with deep expertise in deals, advisory and restructuring capabilities, operating in Germany and across Europe.

We are looking for a manager to join the Integration & Separation team in Munich, Frankfurt or Dusseldorf. The role will involve delivering multi‑stakeholder, international and domestic pre‑ and post‑deal advisory engagements while raising Interpath’s profile as a premier provider of Deals and Value Creation advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to deliver pre‑ and post‑acquisition workstreams for leading private‑equity owned companies and corporates to ensure deal targets are achieved.
• Lead sell‑side and buy‑side operational due diligence, post‑merger integration / separation projects including performance improvement, cost reduction, revenue enhancement, Day‑1 readiness and 100‑day planning.
• Execute and deliver robust methodologies to impact results and mitigate risks for clients.
• Transform operational areas such as sales, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics and purchasing by collaborating with operational specialists.
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure key project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
• Contribute to pitch documents, research and thought‑leadership materials for private‑equity and corporate clients.
• Coach and mentor junior colleagues, contributing to their professional growth.

Requirements

• Strong academic record and previous experience at a leading advisory firm, Big 4 or a company undergoing significant deals transformation activities.
• Well‑developed financial and operational analytical skills, including deep‑dive analysis and complex financial modelling.
• Experience delivering deal transformation work pre‑ and post‑deal and overall performance improvement consulting projects.
• Strong interest in building a career in advisory / consulting focused on deals transformation, operational value creation, performance improvement or transformation.
• Native or business‑fluent German and English (C1) are essential; additional European languages are highly desirable.
• Professional attitude with the ability to engage effectively with clients in high‑pressure situations.
• Flexibility to travel when required for client engagements.
