About Your Team
Be part of FIL Fondsbank GmbH (FFB) - one of the largest independent fund platforms in Germany. As a modern bank, FFB is part of Fidelity International, an owner-managed fund company. The Team “Software Development Data” develops and supports our data transfers between all of our internal systems as well as interfaces to our clients. We design databases and ETL Jobs, build reports, and maintain a document management solution. We are responsible for the smooth running and system operation and for the 2nd level support.

About Your Role
You are enthusiastic about data and statistics. You prepare evaluation data and create reports. Your key responsibilities are:

• developing, optimizing and maintaining SAS-based applications and data models as well as analyzing business requirements and implementing them in technical solutions with SAS.
• performing tests and quality assurance for SAS reports.
• close collaboration with several business stakeholders to develop reporting and analysis tools.
• documentation and training of the solutions developed.
• drive the development of our data science tech stack by looking for innovative opportunities and steering the implementation by our development team.

About You
Eager to grow your knowledge and your career, you’ll fit right in. You’ll succeed because you have:

• a master's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics or another relevant field
• at least 6-8 years of technical experience in Software / IT industry or financial services industries in development or support functions
• experience in data modelling and management of large business data domains
• extensive knowledge of SQL and experience in dealing with Oracle database systems
• experience with collaboration tools like Atlassian JIRA and ServiceNOW
• experience in working with operating systems Linux and MS Windows
• good familiarity in Data Warehousing concepts
• excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
• flexible, open, and innovative with a passion to learn and continuously grow
• ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
• experience with collaboration tools like Atlassian JIRA and ServiceNOW
