Location: Berlin, Germany (5 days a week on-site)

An innovative high-tech manufacturer in the field of scientific imaging and photonics is seeking a Managing Director to lead the company through its next stage of international growth.

The Role

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across the business
• Full P&L responsibility and delivery of growth targets
• Drive international sales expansion and strengthen distributor/OEM partnerships
• Lead and develop a cross-functional team covering R&D, sales, operations, and finance
• Represent the company externally with key customers, partners, and stakeholders

The Candidate

• Proven senior leadership experience (MD, GM, Business Unit Director or similar)
• Strong background in photonics, optics, imaging technologies, or scientific instrumentation
• Track record of driving commercial and operational success in a high-tech business
• Excellent leadership, strategic vision, and communication skills
