With more than 1,700 vacation properties under management, a highly motivated team, and a data‑driven marketing approach, we ensure optimal utilization and outstanding guest experiences across our nine locations in Northern Germany, with headquarters in Eutin.

Every year, we welcome over 100,000 guests across nine locations, earning a strong reputation for reliability and service excellence.

Growth — both organic and inorganic — is part of our DNA. As the market begins to consolidate, our focus is on acquiring and integrating local rental agencies to further strengthen our market position and scale efficiently.

Your future contribution

We are now seeking an experienced and visionary Managing Director (m/f/d) to shape the next chapter of our company with strategic foresight, operational excellence, and people‑centred leadership.

You will work alongside a second Managing Director who focuses primarily on M&A and homeowner relations, jointly driving Kraushaar’s continued growth and modernization.

Location: Eutin or nearby (regular on‑site presence required)

How You’ll Add Value

• Strategy & Growth – Shape the company’s direction, manage the full P&L, and translate group goals into clear local execution.
• Operations & Service Excellence – Scale our 9‑location operation, modernise processes through digital tools and automation, and ensure service quality.
• People & Culture – Lead and develop a 50+ person team; foster accountability, engagement, and emotional leadership.
• Marketing & Brand Growth – Elevate Kraushaar’s visibility across digital and social channels; drive guest and owner acquisition.
• Finance & Governance – Oversee budgets, reporting, and controlling in partnership with the HomeToGo Group.

You’ll be successful in this role if you

• Experience: Proven senior leadership experience, ideally in tourism, hospitality, or related service sectors; deep knowledge of business strategy, finance, and operational optimisation.
• Leadership: Dynamic and authentic leader who inspires and motivates teams while balancing strategic and hands‑on responsibilities.
• Innovation: Forward‑thinking mindset with an ability to identify and implement digital and tech‑driven improvements.
• Communication: Strong communicator and negotiator with credibility across all levels, both internally and externally.
• Results Orientation: Entrepreneurial thinker with a track record of delivering sustainable results and driving business success.
• Language: Fluent in German (C1+) with strong communication skills across local teams and external partners; English proficiency is an advantage.
