To meet the rapidly increasing demand from our customers in the semiconductor industry, our location near Munich, Germany is constantly growing.With a strong intension to expand our newly founded supplier performance engineering team in our facility near Munich, we are looking for experienced **Mechanical Engineers**, with a strong background in manufacturing processes, to manage the technical domain of Applied Materials cutting-edge suppliers as part of the operation division.**You’re eager to;*** Be a part of highly qualified engineering team, to efficiently manage the manufacturing as well as technical domain of complex modules developed by our R&D team* Collaborate with other engineers to ensure a prompt execution as well as efficient and smooth production* Take a lead on driving our suppliers to excellence for enabling smooth manufacturing processes in our facility near Munich**You onboard with us to;*** Be part of a core engineering team which is focused on robust manufacturing of high-end products and modules* Solve complex technical issues to ensure robust volume manufacturing & drive design improvement activities to establish reliable design* Act as technical liaison in evaluating Electron-Optical manufacturing process* Work with Engineering (Design) team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements* Work closely with suppliers to ramp up manufacturing capabilities of Electron-Optical modules and ensure robust production processes* Take responsibility for Applied Materials suppliers’ manufacturing compliance from product release to sustained production* Assess, audit & optimize supplier manufacturing processes to achieve flawless serial production* Understand and interpret engineering drawings & review them**You’d be successful if you bring;*** A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of work experience in manufacturing environment* Proven experience working with suppliers throughout complete product development process* Experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance* Substantial experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment, preferably semiconductor manufacturing* Experience in multidisciplinary R&D and Engineering processes* Substantial experience in supplier development* Fluency in English* Willingness to travel (at least 20%) and explore Applied Materials**Your benefits:*** An exciting, international, and dynamic environment, working in a high technology company with human touch* Extensive further education offers, individual training, learning & development opportunities, and cooperation with experienced employees* Company pension scheme with the possibility of top-up via salary conversion and disability insurance* Travel insurance, can also be used privately* Capital-forming benefits* 30 days of vacation* Bonus program* Membership in selected fitness studios* Free beverages, fresh seasonal fruits & vegetables* Employees can enjoy meals at a reduced cost through our cafeteria's subsidized pricing* Possibility to work remotely.
