Marine Strategic Underwriter

Your tasks:

• Responsible for the execution of the Marine Underwriting strategy within the relecant geographical area
• Execute and maintain Underwriting governance, guidelines and technical audits worldwide
• Responsible for remaining Referral Underwriting and strategy deviations for the relevant area, monitoring and analysing amounts/reason
• Oversee and execute local portfolio steering
• Promote collaboration in home office and between home office, local entities and other functions
• Support up-skilling of Underwriting staff

Your profile:

• Completed training in insurance and finance and further training as an insurance specialist or
  completed studies with a focus on business administration or law
• Experience in underwriting in marine insurance, especially industrial risks, is desirable
• Strong communication skills in conducting talks and negotiations
• Fluent in written and spoken English, other foreign languages welcome
• Willingness to travel within and outside Europe
