Tasks

• Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment in accordance with company standards and protocols.
• Assist in the management of IT assets by keeping accurate inventory records and ensuring proper maintenance and updates are performed.
• Collaborate with remote IT teams to resolve complex issues and implement new technologies that align with organizational goals.
• Deliver user training and support to enhance employee proficiency in utilizing IT resources effectively.

Requirements

• Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with end-user computers, peripherals, and software within an organization.
• Primarily focusing on hardware and software installations, upgrades, and maintenance at the user's desk.
• Providing direct technical support to employees on a day-to-day basis in the office.
• Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with department guidelines.
• Experience in laptop imaging setup.
• Addressing user tickets logged by email or service desk regarding hardware, software, and networking.
• Walking customers through installing applications and computer peripherals.
• Conduct remote troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Windows environments.
• Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.
• Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Customer-oriented attitude.
• Experience with peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones) related to desktop infrastructure, in accordance with department standards.
