The Role
As Market Insights Manager in our Marketing & Communications team, you will own and expand ATOSS’s market intelligence knowledge base. You will generate key insights into opportunities, industry dynamics, market developments, and customer needs across our target industries.
These insights will guide storytelling and marketing communications - enabling other teams to deliver the right content, to the right audience, at the right time, through the most effective channels. By translating insights into actionable guidance, you will ensure an insight-driven approach to the market and shape the strategic direction of content, messaging, and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and expand ATOSS’s market intelligence across key industries, including healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, retail, and services.
- Serve as the in-house industry expert, delivering insights that drive an insight-led approach to marketing, communications, and go-to-market activities.
- Monitor competitors’ messaging, positioning, and activities to identify differentiating USPs and market opportunities.
- Identify the most effective channels, venues, events, and media outlets, and guide ATOSS’s presence on these platforms to boost brand awareness, thought leadership, and lead generation.
- Translate market insights into actionable recommendations for positioning, storytelling, content, and messaging – ensuring the Content team can craft communications that resonate with industry decision-makers and reach them at the right moment.
- Communicate insights clearly and engagingly across Marketing, Content, Sales, and Product teams to ensure a cohesive, targeted, insight-driven market approach.
- Continuously refine research methods and leverage diverse data sources to ensure the knowledge base remains relevant, comprehensive, and impactful.
Key Requirements
- An academic background in Business Administration or a related field, ideally with a focus on Marketing.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in market and competitive analysis within the B2B software industry.
- Experience as a Strategic Planner or similar in an agency setting is a plus, having worked with a diverse range of clients and industries.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill and present complex information into clear, actionable insights that drive decision-making.
- Confident presentation skills and the ability to tailor communication effectively for diverse target audiences.
- A collaborative mindset and adaptability to work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring insights are seamlessly integrated into marketing and business strategies.
- A genuine curiosity for market trends and regulatory developments, ensuring the company stays ahead of the curve.
- Strong communication skills to clearly present complex insights and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in German and English at C1/C2 level (or native proficiency), both written and spoken.
