Overview

Dematic is seeking a proactive and experienced Field Marketing Manager (f/m/d) to lead marketing activities across Dach and Benelux markets. Reporting to the Senior Manager Field Marketing – EMEA, the FMM will be responsible for developing and executing a local marketing strategy that supports the Dach and Benelux markets while aligning with EMEA and global objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Key responsibilities include managing internal and external marketing initiatives, overseeing a partial EMEA budget, and driving brand visibility through trade shows, regional campaigns, sales enablement, and customer communications.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial team, EMEA Marketing, and global central marketing teams, with a strong focus on Marketing Communications and Customer Experience.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated marketing programs that support Dach and Benelux markets while aligning with global objectives.

Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Define and implement an annual marketing strategy in collaboration with the Commercial team, EMEA Marketing team, and aligned with the global marketing team.
  • Support the development of go-to-market strategy.
  • Set strategic plans, budgets, and controlling mechanisms to deliver performance targets and provide effective development plans.

Campaigns, Events & Sales Enablement

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns in close collaboration with the Sales team to drive pipeline growth and brand visibility within Dach and Benelux markets.
  • Plan, execute, and optimise multi-channel campaigns across multiple marketing channels including events, digital activities, content creation, and lead generation activities.
  • Identify and assist with execution of trade shows and regional campaigns.
  • Develop compelling case studies and customer success stories to support sales enablement and thought leadership.
  • Deliver qualified leads and raise Dematic brand awareness through events, paid media, PR activities and digital activities.
  • Educate customers on latest solutions and technologies.

Communications & Content

  • Oversee internal and external communications related to new client wins in coordination with the Sales team.
  • Manage paid media strategy and execution across digital channels, ensuring optimal media mix, budget allocation, and performance tracking to maximize campaign impact and raise brand awareness.

Digital Marketing & CRM

  • Manage social media activities.
  • Enhance web presence, including publishing and optimising content for SEO.
  • Maintain and support CRM data hygiene for marketing campaigns and leads, ensuring accurate segmentation and reporting.

Performance & Reporting

  • Manage and report on budgets, ensuring spend is aligned with strategic goals and delivers measurable ROI.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of campaigns and overall marketing initiatives, providing insight and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Collaboration & Market Insight

  • Monitor the materials handling market — including customers, suppliers, and competitors.
  • Position and differentiate Dematic in the market through strategic marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ marketing and communications experience within a global, matrix organisation.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Proactive self-starter with discipline for setting goals and metrics, driving decisions, and getting closure on recommendations and issues.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels, both internal and external.
  • Capability to make timely, effective, principles-based decisions.
  • Strong team player, creative in generating new ideas, and able to maintain strong alignment with the Director and other Marketing Team members.
  • Ability to travel based on business needs.
  • Experienced user of Marketo.
  • Full professional proficiency in German & English.
