Define and operationalize strategies, initiatives, and programs for selling, marketing, and supporting the company’s products to achieve commercial targets
Serve as an active member of the German Management/Leadership Team
Analyze sales figures, market conditions, and competitor performance
Develop and execute the marketing plan for selected channels (e.g., exhibitions, digital media, social media)
Plan and coordinate major programs, including opinion leader engagement, advisory boards, and the strategic planning process
Provide the field force team with the necessary technical expertise to enable them to effectively sell the product; this includes developing printed and electronic promotional materials, product training, and relevant clinical papers
Develop disease management analyses of therapeutic areas of relevance and conduct strategic assessments of the company’s products in the German market
Communicate with target audiences and manage customer relationships; monitor and control program performance and collaborate with the team to adjust plans as needed
Ensure assigned projects are on budget and delivered according to plan
Build productive business relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and influential customers across the country
Prepare the German Brand Plan
Design the German marketing strategy for relevant products in coordination with the Global Strategy
Prepare and implement marketing programs across both traditional and digital channels (e.g., social media); design and execute a full integrated marketing communications (IMC) plan for relevant products
2–4 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech marketing for specialty products
Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to think strategically and solve problems
Proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to drive business results in a fast-paced environment
Strategic thinker—able to formulate and achieve challenging objectives based on a clear understanding of market trends, customer insights, and business needs
Experience working closely with field sales organizations to implement marketing programs
Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, industry guidelines, and compliance-related issues
Ability to translate strategic vision into tactical action, identify high-impact ideas and plans, and allocate resources effectively
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
Fluent in German and English
