For more information, visitor follow our social channels on,,and.As Marketing Manager Insulin Injection Germany (m/f/d), you will be responsible for leading the downstream marketing activities for our insulin injection portfolio. This role focuses on commercial execution, brand management, and market activation to ensure the successful adoption of our products in the highly competitive diabetes care market. You combine strong marketing expertise, customer focus, and executional excellence to drive product uptake and support sales teams in achieving growth targets.The position is located in Germany in our office in Heidelberg (hybrid working mode) and will operationally report to the Associate Marketing Director EMEA North with a dotted line to the Country Director Germany. You are an ambitious, result driven personality and are ready to take the next step into this role making a difference for patients living with diabetes.**Responsibilities*** Brand & Portfolio Management – Develop and execute downstream marketing plans for the insulin injection portfolio. Manage product positioning, messaging, and branding in line with corporate strategy.* Go-to-Market Execution – Localize global strategies into impactful in-market campaigns. Plan and execute tactical campaigns ‘Where to play and How to win’. Be on Top of market dynamics in Germany, continuously gather market insights and adapt the market model. Collaborate with The German Sales Management to define and implement effective sales cycles. Work closely with MarCom Specialist to ensure executional glue is fitting the winning strategy.* Customer & Market Engagement – Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and support and educate field execution. Develop value propositions tailored to healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients, wholesalers/pharmacies and payers. Organize congress activities and KOL (Key Opinion Leader) engagement programs.* Cross-functional Collaboration – Partner with Market Access, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution. Align with upstream teams to translate strategic direction into market success.* Performance Monitoring – Track KPIs, market share, and ROI of marketing initiatives. Conduct competitor benchmarking and adapt strategies accordingly.***EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:*** * Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Science or related field* 5+ years marketing experience in pharma, MedTech; experience in Diabetes Care is highly preferred***KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:*** * Proven track record in downstream / commercial marketing (brand activation, campaigns, sales support).* Strong understanding of diabetes treatment landscape and stakeholder ecosystem (HCPs, patients, payers)* Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills* Fast learner and a can-do attitude* Fluency in German and English; additional language(s) a plus#LI-REMOTE#LI-DF1embecta is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
