Overview

As part of the EMEA sales organization you will develop and execute marketing strategies that align with the USA headquarter Marketing Communication directives and that will support our sales efforts both direct and through our channel partners. Create marketing campaigns tailored to regions or product groups and analyze results to improve output. Support the EMEA organization in digital marketing and events. Work closely with the EMEA sales and support teams to provide content and support collateral for workshops, events and campaigns.

Professional Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Environmental Science or a related field) or an apprenticeship in a Marketing position.
• Proven experience with some or all the following software programs: Windows, Apple, Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, Marketo.
• Marketing experience, technical sales experience, or promotional and/or technical writing experience is desirable but not necessary.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to prepare and give presentations in one-on-one settings, small groups and workshops.
• Good communication skills in English and German (verbal/written).

Position Responsibilities

Specific

PROMOTIONAL MARKETING CAMPAIGNS:

• Assist in the creation of marketing materials.
• Serve as a project leader for the creation of marketing materials such as webinars, marketing and sales campaigns, tradeshow materials, etc.
• Assist with electronic marketing activities related to search engine optimization, social media, digital advertising, and marketing automation.
• Monitoring and reporting on analytics. Make recommendations for improving processes and implement new strategies for maximizing effectiveness.
• Assist with gathering and analyzing data on markets and competitors. Analyze and report on competitor’s strategies, competitor’s materials including product information, specifications, website, etc.
• Manage social media posts and advertising campaigns on Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Manage the EMEA marketing calendar and demo/marketing assets for events and workshops.
• Manage the EMEA marketing collateral and field sales marketing inventory.

MARKETING AUTOMATION

• Participate in the planning and development of marketing automation strategies.
• Learn and develop skills within our marketing automation platform (Marketo) that allow us to maintain a clean database and quickly flow information between stake holders and technology platforms.
• Build and maintain marketing automation campaigns including triggered and one-off emails, webinar and training life cycles, automated actions based on user activity, and the import of new leads.
• Develop forms, reports, and other related infrastructure to support campaigns.

GENERAL:

• Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount.
• Light travel (domestic and international).
