Role Overview

Position: Mathematics PhD Expert – Contractor, Remote
Commitment: 15-20 hours per week, potential for 40 hours per week
Duration: Minimum of 1-2 months

Contribute subject matter expertise to a project involving state-of-the-art large language models. Help create high-quality data to inform the future of AI innovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop challenging problems in Mathematics to enhance AI model training.
• Evaluate the quality and relevance of AI-generated content in the field of Mathematics.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to refine model outputs and improve accuracy.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Provide detailed feedback to ensure the rigor of training data and solutions.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications

• Mathematics PhD from a top US, UK, Canadian, or European university
• High attention to detail
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent proficiency in English

Engagement Details

Contract Type: Hourly Contractor
Compensation: Paid weekly via Stripe Connect
Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous
Start Date: Ongoing from August with rolling applications
