The OpportunityAs a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll join a small, highly skilled team in Berlin, working on the full lifecycle of innovative mechanical and electro-mechanical systems - from concept design and CAD modelling through to prototyping, testing, and production.

Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end CAD design of precision structural and plastic components for complex mechatronic systems.Integration of mechanical assemblies with electronic and sensor-based modules.Rapid prototyping and design-for-manufacture using 3D printing, machining, and low-volume production methods.Collaboration with suppliers and external manufacturing partners to bring designs into production.Support for assembly, testing, and validation of functional prototypes.
Essential Skills and ExperienceStrong proficiency in 3D CAD modelling and 2D drafting for complex mechanical assemblies.Proven ability to take designs from concept to production, including prototyping and validation.Solid understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturability.Experience working with suppliers or manufacturing partners to optimise design feasibility and cost.Hands-on familiarity with rapid prototyping techniques such as 3D printing or CNC machining.Knowledge of FEA, CFD, or other analytical tools is advantageous.
