Mechanical Design Engineer (UAV/Robotics)

Mechanical Design Engineer sought for a fast‑growth and cutting‑edge perception & robotics scaleup in Munich. These guys are bringing perception/the physical world to life through combining computer vision and LLMs to interpret the environment around us, supporting a number of high‑profile industries.

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer (with a background in UAV, drones, robotics or avionics) to design the mechanisms and integration of on‑board systems into UAV platforms. You will have the chance to work with autonomy, reviewing trade‑offs from CAD to flight testing and bringing electronics and airframes together into flying reality.

The Mechanical Design Engineer will translate mission‑needs into hardware requirements and build, rework test hardware.

• B.S. or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace or a similar related technology field
• 4+ years hands‑on experience in hardware development, including mechanism design from concept to testing
• A background in UAV/drones/robotics or avionics
• Highly proficient in 3D modelling (CAD) and creating quality drawings
• Excited by a fast‑moving, mission‑driven business where you can iterate and work at pace
• Familiarity with aircraft systems or UAVs
• Thermal design and analysis for compact electronics

€70,000-95,000 depending on experience plus meaningful equity, generous holidays, paid trips abroad and many other benefits.
