Position: Distinguished Medical Expert

Type: W2 employment
Compensation: $150–$500/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 6–12 months
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model reasoning in your domain.
• Develop annotation standards, evaluation frameworks, and high-rigor rubrics for clinical reasoning.
• Design challenging, domain-relevant tasks and write gold-standard solutions.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs, providing structured feedback to ensure medical accuracy.
• Collaborate with peers across disciplines to maintain consistency and depth in training data.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Location: Based in the US
• Education: MD or DO from a reputable institution, or PhD in one of the domains actively pursuing research
• Experience: 10+ years of post-training clinical practice in one of the listed frontier specialties (top-tier institution preferred)
• Sub-speciality Research: Currently a leader in your sub-area, or actively furthering research in your domain
