Job Title: Quality Manager – MEP (Data Centre Project)

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Employment Type: Permanent

Salary: €95,000 - €110,000 + Package – Accommodation/living allowance available for travelling workers

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager with a strong MEP background to join our team on a high‑profile data centre construction project in Frankfurt. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all quality assurance and quality control processes related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems to ensure full compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan and MEP‑specific inspection and test plans (ITPs).
• Oversee and coordinate QA/QC activities for all MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, fire protection, plumbing, and BMS.
• Conduct and document site inspections, audits, and internal reviews to ensure quality compliance during all project phases.
• Work closely with design teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve quality‑related issues promptly and effectively.
• Lead MEP commissioning quality processes in collaboration with commissioning agents and vendors.
• Manage non‑conformance reports (NCRs), root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure documentation and certification is maintained and submitted for handover and regulatory compliance.
• Train and mentor site teams on quality procedures and standards, particularly for MEP disciplines.
• Prepare and present quality reports and KPIs to project stakeholders and senior management.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of quality management experience on large‑scale MEP or mission‑critical projects (e.g. data centres, hospitals, pharma, etc.).
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001, local German standards, and international QA/QC frameworks.
• Experience with commissioning processes and QA documentation for MEP systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus).
• Familiarity with tools such as BIM 360, Procore, Aconex, or similar construction QA/QC software.

Valid RTW in Germany is an advantage but not a must
