Overview

Role Title: Functional Consultant

Minimum experience: 5 years (with hands-on work in Supply Chain Management, Trade and Logistics).

Work mode: Remote/Hybrid, 3 days per week. Location: Germany. The manager is OK with remote work; if work mode changes, candidate can work from the nearest Infosys office.

Contract duration: 6 months (with potential extension for long-term project).

Travel: Moderate travel for UK/Switzerland on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience as a Supply Chain Management (Trade and Logistics) Consultant in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and D365 Business Central.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Finance module.
• Thorough understanding of Supply Chain processes – Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Inventory and Warehouse Management.
• Strong understanding of the supply chain lifecycle, with detailed knowledge of Inventory, Sales and Purchase.
• Knowledge of inventory setup and master data, inventory transfer and return processes.
• Experience in data migration.
• Ability to gather requirements and prepare solutions based on fit-gap analysis.
• Experience in working with onsite/offshore model.
• Experience in preparing Functional Design Documents.
• Ability to lead Conference Room Presentations (CRP) to demonstrate functionality to business users.
• Preparation of end-to-end business scenarios for SIT.
• Effective communication with all levels within the organization.
• Strong knowledge in inventory costing, inventory valuation, and financial accounting.
• Good working experience with US customers/teams.
• Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills.
• Prepare project plans for implementation projects.
