Microsoft Senior Specialist Backend Services (m/w/d)

Overview

Microsoft Senior Specialist Backend Services (m/w/d) role at x1F. You will be responsible for the reliable operation and continuous development of our Microsoft backend infrastructures in a professional multi-tenant environment that can be hybrid, cloud-only or on-premise.

Your responsibilities

• Administrate our Microsoft backend infrastructures and central cloud components, including Microsoft Server, MS Exchange, Active Directory, SharePoint, MS Tenant, MS Teams, Entra ID, Exchange Online and the Defender Suite.
• Identify and resolve incidents, problems and security incidents quickly and reliably.
• Process incidents and changes in accordance with ITIL v4.
• Optimize for stable operations, perform maintenance and coordinate with external partners.
• Document processes, services and changes in operating manuals or system overviews.

Qualifications

• Qualified: completed IT apprenticeship (e.g., Fachinformatik) or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience as a system administrator in a Microsoft environment
• Strong administration of M365 services and on-premise Microsoft systems
• Good knowledge of Azure services
• Technically strong: PowerShell skills; Microsoft certifications are advantageous
• Customer-focused: confident demeanor, autonomous and service-oriented work style; consulting experience is a plus
• Analytical: ability to quickly grasp complex relationships and translate into IT processes
• Willing to travel within Germany
• Very good German (min. C1) and good English
