Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled Next.js developer to help finalize backend functionality and optimize frontend performance for our e-learning platform. You’ll work with REST APIs from WordPress/WooCommerce, implement caching strategies, and enhance mobile responsiveness. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys refining systems and improving user experience through thoughtful engineering.


Responsibilities:

• Integrate and refine REST API connections for course/product data, ACF fields, and taxonomies.
• Optimize caching using SWR (for dynamic data) and ISR (for static pages).
• Improve site performance: reduce bundle sizes, optimize assets, and minimize render times.
• Implement loading states, error handling, and suspense for smoother UX.
• Enhance mobile experience through responsive design and conditional rendering.
• Support backend tasks in WordPress as needed (e.g., custom endpoints, data syncing).


Requirements:

• Strong experience with Next.js, React, and Headless CMS setups.
• Familiarity with caching strategies and performance tools.
• Exposure to WordPress REST API, ACF, and taxonomy structures.
• Mobile-first development mindset and responsive design skills.
