Mixed-Signal Design Engineer – CMOS / ADC / DAC

We are currently parterned with a cutting edge deep tech semiconductor start up in Germany looking to expand their team with multiple Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to work on cutting-edge ADC and DAC development in advanced CMOS processes.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Aachen (hybrid work of 2-3 days per week remote is possible).

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop ADC/DAC architectures and supporting analog/mixed-signal building blocks (bandgaps, op-amps, filters, LDOs, TIAs, etc.)
Perform architecture-level trade-offs, behavioral modeling, and high-precision circuit design in challenging noise/mismatch environments
Collaborate with layout engineers on parasitic-aware and matching-driven designs
Execute and review tapeouts using industry-standard EDA tools (Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre)
Support silicon bring-up, validation, and debugging of first silicon
Document design, verification, and integration processes for customer product.

Key Requirements:

A minimum of 10 years relevant industry expereinece in Mixed Signal Design
Proven experience in ADC/DAC circuits and analog fundamentals (noise, linearity, stability, matching)
Proficiency with Cadence tools, Verilog-A/SystemVerilog-AMS, MATLAB/C
Experience with advanced CMOS process nodes and full-custom analog layout techniques (22nm and below)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
