Job Description:
I am looking for a native German copywriter with a strong sense for tone, style, and precision to proofread and refine texts for my luxury photography brand Starup Photo.


My brand DNA is rooted in exclusivity, empowerment, and transformation for women 35+. I work with highly personalized and premium portrait experiences, and my communication must always reflect professionalism, elegance, and warmth.


The main tasks will include:
• Proofreading newsletters (German language) for clarity, flow, and emotional impact.
• Translating English and refining German website copy to ensure tone aligns with a luxury and empowering brand identity. (Brand DNA is defined and Brand Writing Handbook defined)
• Ensuring consistency in language, grammar, and style across all communication.


What I’m Looking For:
• Native German speaker (mandatory).
• Proven experience in copywriting or editing for luxury, lifestyle, fashion, or premium services.
• Sensitivity to tone of voice: professional, modern, elegant, and refined, while still warm and approachable.
• Ability to deliver polished copy that resonates emotionally with the reader.
• Reliable and detail-oriented.


Nice to Have:
• Experience in branding, marketing, or editorial work for luxury or female-focused brands.
• Understanding of emotional branding and empowerment-driven communication.


Deliverables:
• Regular proofreading/editing of newsletters (approx. 1–2 per month).
• Ongoing support for website copy (occasional updates or new sections).
• Possible ad-hoc editing for other marketing materials.
