We are seeking an experienced Network Architect with strong expertise in network design, integration, and transformation projects. The role involves developing and implementing complex network architectures (LAN/WAN/WLAN, Cloud, Security), leading transitions, and aligning solutions with customer IT landscapes. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically versatile, fluent in German and English, and able to bridge business needs with advanced technology roadmaps.



This is your job:
Architectural Design & Roadmap
• Design and develop network systems, transitions, and integrations (WLAN, WAN, ACI, Ethernet, etc.) within customer IT landscapes.
• Create and maintain the technology roadmap and drive its implementation.
• Design system architectures for internal production environments.

Solution Design & Delivery
• Prepare implementation and operating concepts for infrastructure components.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to define solution designs.
• Support Service Delivery Management for existing customer infrastructures.
• Review and validate the integration of customer architectures into enterprise landscapes.

Consulting & Customer Engagement
• Advise customers on solution design both on-site and remotely.
• Capture, analyze, and specify customer requirements.
• Participate in customer tenders, assess feasibility, and contribute to bid qualification.
• Develop business cases, cost models, and expense calculations for solution proposals.

Project & Operations Support
• Collaborate in cross-functional project teams for large-scale IT transformation programs.
• Oversee technical due diligence and define solution concepts for new acquisitions or integrations.
• Manage integration of new customers into existing operational processes.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems; escalate critical issues as needed.
• Document incidents and solutions using ticketing systems.
• Represent the Network Administration function in cross-departmental solution teams.


Your qualifications:
Technical Expertise

• Strong knowledge of network topologies (ACI, Ethernet, WLAN, WAN, etc.).
• In-depth experience with major network vendors and technologies (Cisco, F5, Fortinet, etc.).
• Solid understanding of cloud technologies and their integration into network architectures.
• Broad technical knowledge spanning networks, storage, VMware, and operating systems.

• High flexibility, resilience, and motivation with a strong willingness to learn.
