German speaking IT Network administrator – up to €75,000


Amicus recruitment are working with a transportation company who are the largest provider within Germany. They are looking for a German speaking IT Network administrator with strong experience in Firewall, Proxy and IAM / ZTNA to join their team. This role is based out in either office in North Rhine-Westphalia or Potsdam and are required to go into the office 3 days a week initially and then flexibility is given after probation.


Job Description
As an IT Network administrator, you will be managing and maintaining their network infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure connectivity. You will be monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues as well as optimizing systems to support the needs of the business. The IT Network administrator will configure hardware and software, implementing security measures as well as providing technical support as a 2nd / 3rd line support in the network area.

Their IT department is split up in 2 teams with 8 in the IT operations and 8 in the Network team which you will be joining. They place great importance on ensuring a smooth functioning IT landscape across Germany and are always looking to develop in the future.


Skills
You must have experience in these skills to be successful in this position:
• Firewall
• Proxy
• IAM / ZTNA
• Experienced within a relevant role within network administration and security environment
• Experienced with handling larger network environments
• Fluent German (C1)
