Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical resource for Network Security/Fortinet solutions, providing expert advice and guidance to site teams and customers.
• Risk‑assess industrial infrastructures and understand potential security breaches to be mitigated with project tasks.
• Design and architect solutions based on customer needs, ensuring they align with industry best practices and security standards.
• Plan and execute the successful configuration, pre‑testing and deployment of Fortinet firewalls, switches and integration into Fortinet management systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for solutions on‑site.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including solution architectures, configuration guides and troubleshooting procedures.
• Participate in the development and execution of proof‑of‑concept demonstrations and presentations to showcase Fortinet's capabilities to site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field. Relevant certifications (Fortinet, Cisco, etc.) will be a strong plus.
• Extensive experience working with Fortinet's cybersecurity solutions, including FortiGate firewalls, Forti Analyzer, Forti Manager.
• Proven track record in designing, implementing, and supporting complex network security solutions using Fortinet technologies.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewall technologies, VPNs, intrusion prevention systems (IPS) and other security technologies.
• Familiarity with industry best practices and security frameworks, such as NIST, NIS2, IEC62443.
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication (English) and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Willingness for 70% travelling within the EU.
