We're seeking a proactive and hands-on professional to join our team in Munich to support critical IT infrastructure across network, systems, and production environments.This hybrid role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a global team. 🔧 Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage campus Wi-Fi, routing, switching, and firewallsAct as the primary on-site IT contact for users and stakeholders, working closely with remote/global IT teamsProvide hands-on support for network infrastructure, servers, client systems, and production toolsManage day-to-day IT operations, including provisioning, deployment, patching, and incident resolutionPerform basic network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing) and escalate as neededSupport and maintain Windows and Linux/Unix servers, ensuring optimal performance and securityParticipate in system monitoring, endpoint protection, and inventory controlEnsure compliance with cybersecurity standards and support security initiatives (vulnerability remediation, endpoint management)Assist with IT asset management, documentation, and audit readiness for local systems ✅ Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience3–5+ years of IT support or system administration experience in a high-tech or production environmentStrong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching)Expertise with campus networking componentsExperience with Windows and Linux/Unix systems, scripting, and troubleshootingFamiliarity with endpoint security, patch management, and hardening practicesExperience managing third-party service providers or contractorsExcellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills (English required)Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, production-sensitive environmentProficiency with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow), remote tools, and documentation best practicesBonus: Experience with factory environments, including MES, ERP, or production data systems
