To support our Strategic Business Excellence (SBE) unit in Munich, we are looking for a New Product Planning Manager (m/w/d).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver integrated launch readiness strategies in alignment with Ipsen Global
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment across DACH on launch strategies, based on robust information and insights from both internal and external stakeholders
  • Responsible for the development of an integrated early launch readiness strategy for the selected product(s) execution
  • Liaise closely with all relevant stakeholders at local and global level to ensure DACH input and requirements are provided and recognized in a timely manner to be incorporated into the global launch plans
  • Ensure appropriate portfolio prioritization
  • Utilise the launch strategies and robust forecasting to recommend appropriate portfolio prioritisation and subsequent resource allocation
  • Identify opportunities to evolve the portfolio through local business development and licensing
  • Effectively consider portfolio trade offs to maximise total business in the DACH in the long term
  • Market understanding and external trends
  • Work cross-functionally, leveraging our understanding of the external environment and using our in-depth knowledge of the brand strategy to create new commercial/value offerings
  • Keep up-to-date on latest external trends, customer insights, anticipate challenges and opportunities and ensure that the local strategy is competitive and addresses the changing external environment
  • Utilise the subject matter expert in DACH Regulatory, Market Access, Commercial, Medical Affairs to derive insight and intelligence to inform access strategies across the life-cycle of products
  • Identify emerging DACH accelerated access trends relevant to Ipsen
  • Identify and track competitor intelligence and trends relevant to Ipsen
  • Coordinate local strategic planning process and strategic reviews. Follow-up on agreed actions to ensure delivery, as required
  • Engage with stakeholders across the health ecosystem
  • Identify and develop a robust engagement and insights capture plan with leaders within the DACH health ecosystem across regulatory, access, clinical and commercial customer groups to keep abreast of relevant developments
  • Map relevant customers for products within remit to gain insights and feedback
  • Gather insights via 1:1s, advisory boards, market research and other means as appropriate that can be developed and shared for strategic discussions
  • Collaboration and matrix working
  • Maintain an effective and close collaboration with all relevant local and global teams to ensure full alignment of all commercial offerings and models
  • Plan and provide regular updates to leadership team and relevant function teams on portfolio, data and priorities
  • Handle ad hoc requests related to above areas of responsibility (e.g. briefings, presentations, planning, etc.)
  • Support LT and BU meetings, priorities, decision making and follow ups, as requested
  • Establish key milestones and KPIs for all projects
  • Proactively share insights with all appropriate Ipsen stakeholders
  • Establish links with the DACH policy team to ensure national and regional alignment
  • Ensure that all projects and communications are appropriate to the intended audience, comply with the ABPI code of practice and Ipsen internal policies, directives, and standard operating procedures, including being approved as necessary

Qualifications

  • Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent
  • Cross functional launch experience, especially with medical, market access and commercial experience
  • A proven track record of creating strategy and delivering solutions to accelerate launches
  • Operations management experience/knowledge ideal
  • Experience of working in Oncology, Neuroscience and Rare Diseases is preferred
  • Proven track record in successful project scoping, strategic planning & project management
  • English business fluent is essential, German language skills are necessary too (fluent level very desirable)
