Summary of This Role

The role (based in Cologne and/or Frankfurt am Main - Germany) is part of the Senior Leadership Team reporting into the Board of Directors Germany and responsible for translating the business strategy of GP PAI into an actionable country-specific product strategy with a strong focus on the German market requirements, taking into account GP’s overall product capabilities. Additionally, the role focuses on embedding the German PM team into the global product development structure of GP. As such, the role is a key contributor to the financial success of GP PAI by deriving a Go-to-Market strategy for existing and upcoming products as well as managing the product lifecycle with all relevant stakeholders.

What Part Will You Play?

• Provides leadership and vision to Product Managers across all stages of the product life-cycle, including innovation, ideation, analysis, planning, development, deployment, sales, marketing, support, and retirement.
• Leads, establishes, and promotes strategic focus, providing high-level direction on work, decisions, and processes. Sets the product and business strategy across all lifecycle stages, ensuring industry relevance and market leadership.
• Identifies key business opportunities, supports strategy refinement, and explores new technologies, partnerships, and start-ups to develop and deliver innovative products and services. Conducts complex data analysis and makes recommendations that may deviate from established procedures, adapting methods as business needs change.
• Reviews regular reporting on product or project status, manages client and strategic product meetings, and communicates with clients to gain consensus on sensitive issues.
• Manages third-party relationships, including negotiations, contracts, and partner management, to optimize business opportunities.
• Participates in setting product pricing strategies, client billing, and presenting recommendations to various committees and councils.
• Analyzes, tracks, and reports on product profit and loss statements, and plans budgets covering all related costs, ensuring high-quality client service.
• Oversees multiple products and related activities, monitors financial and effectiveness measures, and ensures project completion on schedule and within scope.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Relevant experience or degree in a related field from an accredited university; relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• At least 10 years of professional experience, including 5-6 years in a managerial role.
