Operations Consultant

Our client is hiring for an Operations Consultant to join their team in Berlin, Amsterdam, or Bari, Italy!

Join their team and support them in creating and operating their ERP solutions (provisioning, customization, roll-out, monitoring, troubleshooting).

The successful candidate will be based anywhere within a commutable distance of their offices in Berlin, Amsterdam, or Bari, Italy, working in a hybrid work model!

What your day will look like:

• Manage the deployment and delivery of their software.
• Be responsible for the installation, technical configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of their hosted solutions (private cloud, public cloud).
• Advise their customers who operate their software on-premise regarding implementing new technologies.
• Work closely with their Development department to optimize their process software.
• Be part of a global team, their 2nd-level support team, and their customer care team.

About You:

• At least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline, with relevant experience in this area.
• Experience in scripting and shell programming on Windows or Linux (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible).
• A good understanding of software architectures and the requirements for operating these architectures (Windows / Linux).
• Familiarity with handling databases (preferably Oracle) and SQL.
• Good communication skills, facilitating dealing with and assisting various customers and colleagues from different departments.
• A willingness to travel when required and to work outside traditional business hours if necessary.
• At least a professional level of English, both written and verbal, plus proficiency in German, Dutch, or Italian.
• Legally authorized to work in Germany, the Netherlands, or Italy.
